Jenny Boles is a moving image artist working across experimental nonfiction film and installation. Her projects explore media archives and the histories and ecologies of place. Her work has been exhibited in festivals and gallery spaces including Antimatter Film Festival, Chicago International, New Orleans Film Festival, Alchemy Arts, Mimesis Documentary Festival, DOXA Documentary Film Festival, Florida Experimental Film Festival, and Chicago Underground. She holds a Ph.D. in History from Indiana University and an MFA in Documentary Media from Northwestern University, and is an Assistant Professor in the School of Film and Photography at Montana State University.
